We are a friendly and inclusive club who aim to improve lifesaving skills while still having fun. There are 4 training sessions in a week which focus on speeds events, lifesaving in the pool and lifesaving out of the pool. We compete in the BULSCA (British Universities LifeSaving Clubs Association) league meaning there are opportunities to compete all year round at all levels.
Lifesaving is a well-rounded team sport which requires speed, strength, knowledge and skill. The club has a variety of skill levels and anyone is welcome.
However, as a club it's not all training, and we hold many social events throughout the whole year including movie nights, Christmas markets, end of term meals, and of course water parks!
