A few words from the alumni

Lifesaving is a truly unique experience, more than a club, a family. So many diverse and engaged individuals bring this club together and have helped shape my university experience for the better. From medalling at competitions to parting at POP, I've had enormous amounts of fun that I wish I could relive ten times over.
Noah Hollowell, 2020-2024 (SERC Officer 2022-23, President 2023-24)
Warwick Lifesaving is more than just a university club - it's a place where everyone is made to feel welcome, irrespective of their background or beliefs. I've never experienced a group of people that differ so much in so many ways, but has a team spirit that makes you feel as though you've known everyone your entire life. You celebrate together and commiserate together, but that's the important part - you always do things together.
Mike Ducker, 2015-2019 (Speeds Training Officer 2016-17, President 2017-18)
Of the rollercoaster ride that is university life, the greatest thrills came from my time with the Warwick Lifesaving team. From the highs of competing in national competitions, to the lows of missing out on medals by mere points; from training hard week in week out, to whipping my shirt off in the copper rooms in the name of Baywatch, every moment I spent with this club was part of an adventure that I won't be forgetting any time soon.
Michael Kaniou, 2017-2019 (Treasurer 2018-19)
Lifesaving became my second family at Warwick, and I couldn't have picked a better one! Seeing the same group of people four times a week of training and then every other weekend at a comp made everyone very close. I have friends that will last a lifetime. I could not have picked a better sport, lifesaving lends itself to all abilities; from complete beginners to lifesaving experts and pushes everyone both physically and mental to perform the best as individuals and as teammates. There is so much to learn and so much variety that even after 4 years in the club I still was interested, engaged and wanting to do more lifesaving!
Becky Crabbe 2016-2020 (Secretary 2017-18, President 2018-19)
Lifesaving was the highlight of my time at Warwick, I made so many friends and the club felt like a family! I joined the club as a complete beginner and was welcomed with open arms, everyone was more than happy to support me and teach me everything they knew! I'll always be glad that I took the plunge and tried a completely new sport!
Jake Saunders 2016-2020 (Secretary & Kit Officer 2018-19)
